Summer House Stitche Workes - Fragments in Time 2022 Susquehanna Valley Samplers
his year's series was inspired by antique Susquehanna Valley Samplers. As I studied the originals with their compartmentalized borders, I knew they would make a perfect Fragments series. This body of antique samplers was created from the late 1700's through the 1840's, being produced from several schools located along the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania. I hope you enjoy my updated version of this piece of sampler history.
