From Theresa: I bought the original sampler (reproduced, above) two years ago at market from Dawn Lewis of The Needle’s Work Antiques. I fell in love immediately with the organic nature of the sampler. My reproductions come with a page inside where I talk about the sampler, things I noticed, elements that are particularly interesting. It’s a little bonus for stitchers, who often love to read about these old girls. The chart is in full color. Specialty stitches include a little backstitching and over-one (the verse and attribution).
