Size 28 Platinum John James Tapestry Needles. Smooth platinum coating on the needle makes it glide through your fabric. Packaged in a needle tube by Yarn Tree. Two needles per tube. 

Platinum or gold plated needles are suggested for stitchers who are allergic to the nickel plating used on some jewellery and standard needles. Studies have shown that 10%-15% of women have some allergic reaction to contact with nickel. Interestingly, men are far less likely to be allergic to nickel.
